2006 Rachel Bennett arrives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where she establishes an events company. Having spent significant time in Europe and America and having visited the UAE since she was 21 it was Rachel's vision to create a European themed party within the Emirates.
Working on-the-go creating detailed business plans , profit and loss projections alongside designing the 'Plastik' brand logo, concept and artwork. Rachel arranges meetings with the F&B manager of all 5* resorts.
Having been laughed-out of most of the food and beverage departments in Dubai and having met with most of the condescending FB managers in the UAE; Rachel finally convinces a resort to allow her to host a party every friday - in a joint venture profit share 30/70 split in favour of the resort.
After all these months of hard work including business plans , presentations, artwork, design , brand management , event planning, financial projections - working from coffee shops and being laughed at by senior management in Dubai's premium resorts ;everything came to fruition and the weekly Friday event generated queues of 'social elite' out of the door and epic accolade with daily revenue fluctuating between 300 - 600,000 Dirhams $150,000
Acknowledging the epic financial reward of her hard work Rachel was not satisfied with receiving only 30% of the NET profit.
She embarked again on business plan after business plan and sought a permanent location to build a club. She also pitched to investors who added to the money she had saved to build a brand new venue from scratch in return for their ROI plus a percentage of the profit.
Plastik Beach Club was born: built entirely foundation level up; Rachel was appointed founder and CEO and had ascended from hosting a weekly exclusive party to owning and operating a private members club.
2012 - Trust Fund Club was born. After over five years of hosting events, travel, private events for royalty and HNW Rachel had amassed a personal network of clients with companies and assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars. She left the events industry for the boardroom - Venture Capital
