<< When I created the Plastik Beach brand, it was exciting times; I'd taken sole inspiration from the trending use of the word 'Plastik' on the social network site myspace; it described a type of girl obsessed with aesthetics and wealth. The name stuck with me and I built my concept around it, the "plastik" fairytale facade of the United Arab Emirates explosion, The mega-rich subsequentely attracting the mega beautiful. Hence Plastik Beach Club was born. I'd achieved my goal, I'd ascended from anonymity to owning the most influential members club within the UAE. The biggest and fastest downturn of any successful company, venture or product no matter how fabulous it may-be is internal conflict. It consumes your life;  years of lawyers and courts and intimidation. I was exceptionally young, female and operating in an arab country, I literally went through hell and back; from what was such a beautiful product; to greed and corruption attempting to concour, they failed I was the only one left standing with a pocket book full of  the UAEs social elite but it robbed years from my life . I created the brand and every aspect, every event was tailor made by me but after a while you loose interest in the party scene. I just outgrew it...          Continue  >>
