"In this high tech world of internet and technology the skilled trades of the past are almost extinct. Everything is mass produced and commercialised.

I adore unique and individual design I appreciate craftsmanship. When you own a piece which you can guarantee is not mass produced in a factory and has been hand made - not only does it make the item rarer than that which can be bought in any store it also makes you feel special.

Something which has been produced on an assembly line in a factory (more often then not operating child labour) cannot possibly hold positive energy. Items hold onto and store energy the entire universe is based upon energy There is no comparison between mass prouction and an item which has been lovingly created by hand; the designer taking due care and attention-to-detail  every stroke and stitch made with love.

There are limitless  variables and materials which when applied with creative flair produce  bespoke end products."

"During my pregnancy (winter 2014)  I didn't want to sit around bored for nine months but I accepted that I need to stay calm, relaxed and stress free; no sleepless nights, five hour skype conference calls  or aggravated business email tennis.

I decided to enjoy the luxury of this time and to get creative; To eplore aesthetics and craftsmanship."

The videos below demonstrate this learning process. Exploring from a technical persepctive how things are made.

It is easy to buy something off-the-peg in a store or to take a photo of a dress you like in  a magazine  - and take it to a factory or local tailors to copy. The creative passion comes when you want to implement your OWN ideas. It's easy enough to buy a pair of louboutins (that everyone else has) but how about creating and designing your own shoes?

There is no limit to creativity it depends on  individual imagination. There is no limit to design, material or method the scope is endless."
