In the Middle East booking VIP tables in clubs, HNW being ripped off is day to day business  (remember there are thousands of sheikhs and princes it's not like the European royal families).  All of my HNW clients have been through the Dubai-isms. There comes a point when you sit back and realise; someone of a high social standing ; HNW a Royal or celebrity -  It is not their goal in life to socialise-DOWN. Why would it be ? Could you imagine Brad Pitt hanging around in lame clubs, spraying champagne in a bid to attract over-made-up air hostesses and girls/guys whos life's greatest achievement is wearing a herve dress and being invited to a VIP table?. "knock knock" welcome to the real world; VIP people are not desperados, they DO NOT need to court attention.  VIP's socalise with people of their own standard or higher; welcome Angelina Jolie! The only celebrities or HNW who socialise-DOWN are the Z list - My clients are rich by birth or rich through success I drum it into them that there is no need to keep the lame court jesters around, there is no need to be sitting in the company of a girl who's called Suzie on monday and Sandy on Tuesday depending on which rich man shes sitting infront of. Infact I tell them that I honestly cannot think of anything more ridiculous to do, rich or poor!. Money is power and it provides great privilege and opportunity; when you have it it opens up a million doors for you and as I advise my clients you need to use that power to socialise-UP!  (not DOWN) - As venture capitalist the mass of business proposals I receive (again from the 'advisor/friend') of a Royal or HNW is also phenomenal - (again) seeking comissions to use their  power to convince and persuade their 'friend' to enter into business ventures. HNW and Royals may think that they are safe but they need to wake up and realise;  jealousy breeds resentment - which, in the longrun breeds hate. When you are a HNW or Royal you are on a pedestal. Life for you is not normal. You need to be alert and awake, your VIP options lie within YOU not your 'so-called-friend/ advisor - who 99.9% of the time is not even eligible to travel within the western world, we have visa regulations for valid reasons!  Know your worth!  - Always examine the source >>
