<< "People who are overly nice or an extrovert hold no interest to me. I think such people reek of desperation in my experience they will do anything to gain and keep your attention (because they want something from you). What draws my attention in business and my personal life are the silent thinkers, people of few words with an air of arrogance. People who think laterally and don't apply 'spin' or 'hype' People who have great ideas , have experienced great achievements and great failures. People who I can learn something from and feel enriched having met them. We don't only learn from our success I believe we learn more from our failures ; as famously said -
"you aren’t a true entrepreneur if you haven’t gone bankrupt at least once! Well Walt Disney shows us how It's done, he was fired by a newspaper editor because “he lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” He went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland. Or the story of Howard Schultz who is estimated to be worth $1.1Bn His 'starbucks' idea was rejected continuously and only received bank funding on his 224 th proposal. It is essential to be driven, to stay focused and persevere; even when things fall apart around you a truely gifted person does not give up- in the words of Howard Schultz "the three components for success are persistence, faith and vision"
