"One of the most alarming social aspects that HNWI need to monitor are the drink-pushers alongwith the standard 'advisor - 'friends' seeking comissions it is imperative that HNW monitor all new 'friends' they are introduced to.
These people work in packs or alone, they pretend to be partying and after-partying and having fun - just to appease the HNW or Royal. The reality is their brains are working on overdrive YOU are their target, they have no interest in listening to your life story or spending time forming a friendship all they want is dollar.
People force or offer drinks because they want to take advantage (trust me I know!) yet another life lesson which I opted to learn the hard way.
The people you think you are having fun with (the ones touting the sambucca and the tequilla shots) are the very ones who are pouring water in their own glass and pouring DOUBLE IN YOURS.
When you reach your drink-induced-coma it is then when they will act.
When you wake up the next morning and wonder where your watch is or your wallet or how your nightclub table bill is so high or what you bought from Rolex online at 5.36 am, it is the drink-pushing-faries who will insist "you were so drunk you did it yourself".
"When you surround yourself with trash they do not have the same outlook on life as you, they are not privileged they are driven by securing short-term-funds ; scrapping over crumbs of bread from your table because they have no other options in life.
It takes having your fingers burned before you, (like I) actually wake up and realise. Why exactly are these people around me?
When you associate with people of quality you eliminate all of these issues ;

They have the same luxury items as you , they don't revere yours.

They will drink the alcohol with you they have nothing to gain in getting you drunk.

They will split the bill or invite you as their guest.

If you fall out or have a disagreement you will not be internet-trolled as they are of quality character.

They won't encourage you to behave or act in any manor which would tarnish your image as they have the same image to protect.
It is fair enough to befriend people from all walks of life but when it comes to socialising and the routine is YOU paying for an 'entourage' people who do not so much as even offer to buy you a coffee in return, you need to stop behaving like the pied-piper-of-hamelin and get rid of all the rats. There is nothing attractive about a rent a crowd it is a downgrade for a HNW to suffer fools.
